Developed and manufactured in Germany, the lock combines the compact strength of a folding lock with the convenience of an adaptor chain – and, as a complement to the frame lock, offers a well-designed system that can be folded up like a folding rule to save space.

Two systems, one solution

The ACH BORDO™ 6000 Connect fills a gap in the mobile security concept: it complements the frame lock range and now makes it possible to securely lock the bike to fixed objects such as bike racks, streetlamps or traffic signs – thus preventing thieves from simply carrying it away. Unlike a traditional chain lock, the BORDO™ Connect folds up like a folding rule and can be easily transported on the bike in the space-saving bracket provided.

360° bolt and 120 cm length for intuitive handling

Locking it up is incredibly simple: The ACH BORDO™ 6000 Connect will be wrapped around a fixed object, the end is threaded through the loop ring and inserted into the frame lock. The newly developed, round 360° steel bolt locks reliably into the lock body from any position. Simply insert it, and you’re done – even in poor lighting conditions. The 120 cm locking range also contributes to the convenient handling of the BORDO™ Connect 6000. This wide range offers more flexibility in everyday use and ensures more attachment options with fewer compromises on security.

Hardened special steel and robust special rivets

In situations with a high risk of theft – such as when using an e-bike, cycling in bigger cities or leaving your bike parked for longer periods – the BORDO™ Connect provides reliable protection. The 5 mm thick bars, the housing and the load-bearing parts of the locking mechanism are made of specially hardened steel and offer high resistance to attacks. In addition, all joints are fitted with robust special rivets, which increase the stability of the connecting elements and strengthen the entire construction. Both the ring and the steel bars are coated, ensuring that no scratches are caused to the frame when locking the bike and that the paintwork remains undamaged during daily use.

Lock mount included

The package includes the SH mount, which can be easily fitted to the bike. . Particularly practical: the lock is removed from the front which makes it very convenient to use. This ensures the BORDO™ Connect 6000 is safely stowed away and ready for use at any time.
