The YARDO ONE bike lock from security expert ABUS is the smart reinterpretation of the classic chain lock. You don’t need a key or a numerical code for this lock. The ABUS YARDO ONE opens and closes conveniently ‘keyless’ via the ABUS ONE App – quickly, intuitively and with lots of smart features that go far beyond simply locking your bike.

Operation via the ABUS ONE App – no more lost keys

The key element in operating the YARDO ONE is the ABUS ONE App. It allows the integrated SmartX cylinder to be opened and closed ‘keyless’ via Bluetooth® – convenient and just as secure as a traditional locking system. The traditional key or numerical code is no longer required for this lock, offering added convenience. Lost keys are now a thing of the past. Your smartphone, which is always to hand anyway, becomes your key. When you put it on, the lock automatically locks – an added convenience in hectic everyday life.

Versatile applications thanks to individual access rights

The ABUS ONE App allows you to manage customised access rights – a clear advantage for anyone who shares their bike with others. Within the family, for example, access can be granted permanently so that partners or children can use the bike at any time. In professional bike rental , on the other hand, access can be granted precisely for the duration of the rental period.

Location tracking for greater clarity in everyday life

Anyone who occasionally forgets where they’ve parked their bike in everyday life will benefit from a handy feature of the YARDO ONE: the bike’s last location is automatically saved when it’s locked and can be retrieved at any time via the ABUS ONE App. This is particularly helpful in confusing parking situations or when parking in unfamiliar cities.

One lock – a whole security ecosystem

The ABUS ONE App is far more than just a user interface for a single lock. Smart BORDOs and other products from the ABUS ONE series can also be controlled via the app—whether they are mobile security or home security products. In this way, YARDO ONE evolves into a sophisticated security ecosystem that adapts flexibly to users’ needs.

Balancing security and comfort

As you would expect from ABUS, great importance was placed on security and convenience during development. The result is a 7 mm thick chain, a double ball bearing locking mechanism provides improved protection against forced opening, automatic locking and, of course, convenient operation via the app.
